With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James J. Friess of Jackson, Wisconsin, who passed away on December 22, 2023 at the age of 58. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Roman Friess and Dorothy Friess (Hembel); his brother Mark W. Friess; his great-niece Mayah McLeod; and also, Robert, Jill Shymanski, Shawn Shymanski and Steven.

He is survived by : his significant other Vicki Shymanski; his son Ryan Friess; his sister-in-law Colleen Friess; his nieces, Heather (Wendy), Stephanie McLeod (Robert) and Amanda Hauck (Dylan); his godson Jeremy (Judy); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Isaiah, Olivia, Elie, Sophia and John; and his children, Ava and Carson. He is also survived by many other relatives and dear friends.
