With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Aileen Mirtell (Sime) Kegley of Janesville, Wisconsin, who passed away on May 30, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire her loved ones, keeping Aileen Mirtell's spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. While her presence may be gone, her impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Sime and Clara Sime; her husband Allan Kegley; her brother Harley Sime (Ethel); and her mother-in-law Helen Connely.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Howell of Readstown, WI and Marsha Jones (Ethan) of Janesville, WI; her grandchildren, Cheryl Halverson (Randy), Rodney Howell (Krystal) and Vickie Schneider (Kent Phillips); and her nephew Gary Sime (Barb) of Tomah, WI. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Sime Funeral Home (106 S 4th St, Readstown, WI 54652). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 1:45 PM to 2:00 PM at the Readstown Cemetery South 3rd.
