Clione J. Evenstad Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Clione J. Evenstad of Janesville, Wisconsin, who passed away on May 24, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cleo Keele and Larga Keele (Bergt); her former husband James R. Cox; her husband Kenton H. Evenstad; and her siblings, Suzanne Lewellyn and David Keele.
She is survived by: her children, James Cox (Donna) of Janesville, Julie Gerke of Janesville and Gina Hartlaub (Tad) of Salem, WI; her son-in-law Douglas Gerke of Crivitz, WI; her grandchildren, Ben Woods (Cassie), Lorin Cox of David, Sarah McCaskill (Dane), Daniel Gerke (Kayla), TJ Hartlaub, Shawn Hartlaub (Ashley), Carissa Mooren, Kelsey Kopf (Nathan), Jessica Ricker (Jason), Sadie Hartlaub and Kayla Hartlaub; her brother Terry Keele (Jan) of Janesville; and her stepsons, John and Bruce Evenstad. She is also survived by 18 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Apfel Wolfe Funeral Home (21 S Austin Rd, Janesville, WI 53548). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made to Agrace Hospice (https://www.agrace.org) which was a wonderful support to Mitzi and her family in her last months.
