With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerald L. Forst (Janesville, Wisconsin), born in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin, who passed away on February 23, 2019 at the age of 84. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Forst and Leona Forst (Becwar); his daughters, Susan Forst and Loraine Bertelsen; and his brothers, Francis Forst and Dennis Forst.
He is survived by: his wife Kay Forst; his children, Karen Forst, Nancy Williams (David), Marlene Masterson (Jim), Sharon Schoeder (Mike) and Mike Bertelsen (Lucy); his grandchildren, Matthew, Nathan Burt, Rebecca Williams, Nick, Cassidy, Garrett Masterson, Brittany (David Masak), Steffi, Andrew (Melissa Ellis), Jacob Schoeder, Chris, Joe and Steve Bertelsen; and his siblings, Roger Forst (Edna), Norita Hollar (John), Marilyn Piechowski (John) and Dianne Goodman (Ron). He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
