In loving memory of Helen M. Douglas (Janesville, Wisconsin), who departed this world on June 11, 2025 at the age of 97. Helen leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence McKeown and Mary McKeown (O'Rourke); and her husband Melvin Douglas (Tubby) of Patrick's Church Rectory. She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Douglas (Joan) of Janesville, Kathleen Schaefer (William) of Janesville and James Douglas (Kristine) of Fort Wayne, IN; her sister Florence Williams of Janesville; her grandchildren, Lisa Vogel (Brent), Lynette Douglas, Kevin Schweder, Angela Wallisch (Clint), Chase Douglas (Angela) and Allison Thomas (Josh); her stepgrandchildren, Megan Cullen-Meyer and Brett Cullen; her great grandchildren, Bryan (Morgan), Anna (Anthony), Bella, Drake, Aailyah, Nathan, Melanie, Madelyn, Elliot, Calvin, Cian, Hudson, Winston and Simon; her siblings, Katherine Howard and James McKeown; and her great grandchild Connor.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Augustine's Catholic Church (280 Haberdale Dr, Footville, WI 53537).
