He was predeceased by: his parents, Aldren B. Thibeau and Louise K. Thibeau (Hoppe); and his brother David Thibeau. He is survived by: his wife Carol Thibeau; his children, Michael Thibeau and Daniel Thibeau (Catherine); his grandchildren, Ashley Thibeau (Steven Beshensky), Jacob, David and Elizabeth Thibeau; and his sister-in-law Karen Thibeau.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in his name to the Ronald McDonald House, Madison, WI.
