He is survived by: his brothers, Mark Fries (Helen) and James Fries; and his siblings' children, Adam Fries (Ashley), Cody Fries (Amanda), Kevin Fries, Derik Fries (Ashley), Diana Harris (John) and Sarah Bess (Austin Lester).
