He was predeceased by: his mother Anita Blija (Kopins). He is survived by: his father John Blija; his wife Katie (Leathem); his sons, Matthew, Michael and Steven; his brother Mikel; his mother-in-law Jean Van Acker; and his siblings-in-law, James Leathem (Janet) and Chris Zhe (Eddy).
