She was predeceased by: her parents, Dale F. Walter and Katherine C. Walter (Denning); and her brothers, Jerry and Jim Walter. She is survived by: her husband Robert W. Rice; her daughters, Cheryl Philipps (Gerard) of Platteville, WI and Paula Haenel (Jason) of Madison; her sisters, Susanne Ulbrich of Mesa, AZ and Mary Scodwell (Tony) of Las Vegas, NV.; and her sister-in-law Nancy Henning (Dick) of Janesville. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many, many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials would be greatly appreciated if they were made to Nativity of Mary Catholic Church.
