He was predeceased by: his father Ross Binsley; his daughter Kelly Howes; and his brother John Binsley. He is survived by: his mother Moselle Binsley (Dickson); his wife Betty Howes (Babcock); his children, Richie Howes II (Jennifer), Adam Rutherford, Eric Rutherford (Kelley Castaneda) and Michael Howes; and his brother Ralph "Bud" Howes (Jean). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren.
