He was predeceased by: his parents-in-law, Harry Schmid and Marilyn Schmid. He is survived by: his parent Edward John; his wife Shirley Bankert of Concord; his children, Amy Ernest of Stevens Point and Missy Marks of West Allis; his stepchildren, David Grawvunder (Melissa) of Waupaca, Jerry Grawvunder (Liz) of Ogdensburg, WI, Ilona Grawvunder (Robert) of Waupaca, Tammy Grawvunder of Reedsburg and Jennifer Grawvunder of California; his grandchildren, Matthew Marks of Concord, Emily Ernest of Milwaukee and Brody Ernest of Stevens Point; his mother Mary Bankert of Jefferson; his sisters, Phyllis Hanke (Dean) of Fort Atkinson and Linda Multhauf (Chris) of Concord; and his brothers-in-law, Roger Schmid (Rose) and Danny Schmid. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
