He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Horwath and Eva Horwath (Ratz); his children, Eileen Rose and Reed Horwath; and his granddaughter Samara Brickman.
He is survived by: his wife Christine Horwath of Jefferson; and his daughter Rita Bailey (Vincent) of Phoenix, AZ. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
