She was predeceased by : her parents, Sanford Peterson and Mary Peterson; and her sister Jeannette Davis. She is survived by : her husband Jerry Montefelt of Juda; her sons, Allan Montefelt of Romeo, MI and Brian Montefelt (Angie) of Orfordville; her granddaughters, Hannah and Nicole; her great grandchild Luke; and her brother Larry Peterson (Carmen) of El Paso, TX. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials are suggested to Oakley Union Church Cemetery in Evonne's name.
