It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard L. Pomeroy (Appleton, Wisconsin), who passed away on June 10, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Richard may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Richard touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Pomeroy and Irene Pomeroy; and his siblings, Clifford Pomeroy (Nancy), Elaine Else (Leonard), Irvin Pomeroy and Shirley Longsine (Carlton).
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Joan Pomeroy; his nephew Sam Longsine (Richard); and his son Sam.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Bethany Lutheran Church - Kaukauna (124 W 10th St, Kaukauna, WI 54130). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Christian Funeral Service.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
