He was predeceased by: his parents, Emery and Martha (Kirmse); his wife Patricia (Keller); his son Albert; and his siblings, Gerald and Marjorie Nelson.
He is survived by: his children, Donald Lee (Penny), Roger (Shirley), Lynn (Jill), Mary Tegen (Bob), LuAnne Sokolowski (Glenn), Debbie Leonhard (Don), Jackie Precour (Paul), Lori Jasurda (Ed), Donna and Jill Hoogland (Colin); and his siblings, Lawrence and Doris Erickson (Millie Kempen). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
