He was predeceased by: his wife Isabel Chavela Escribano; and his mother Juana. He is survived by: his children, Pablo Escribano (Diana) and Erica Guzman (Nicolas); his grandchildren, Nadia, Natalie, Viviana, Elysa, Iliana and Araceli; and his sibling Puerto Rico.
