He was predeceased by : his parents, Ernest, Sr. Wayka and Louise "Marie" Wayka (Waupoose); his siblings, Ernest Wayka, Jr., Marvin Wayka, Sr., John Wayka, Myron "Chummy" Wayka, Curtis Wayka Sr., Ronald Wayka, Deborah Wayka, Karen Sackatook, Dorla Boivin, Caroline Caldwell and Daryl James; his son Joseph; and the mother of his children Ona Pyawasit.
He is survived by : his children, Daniel Wayka Jr. (Misty), Fawn Pyawasit and Fern Pyawasit (Steve); his grandchildren, R. J. Gabriella, Gage, Gracie, Gloriana, Evelyn, Taliegha, Hayden, Ta-Naya and Lennox; and his siblings, Deneane Tourtillott (Miles), Richard Wayka and Janell Wayka. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Per family request, they would like anyone who attends the funeral to be mindful of Covid-19 safety regulations.
