He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerhardt Koopman and Ellen Koopman; and his siblings, Louis "Bud" Koopman of Dean Koopman, Lois Wahls and Geraldine Koch.
He is survived by: his children, Tim Koopman (Nancy) of Minneapolis, Todd Koopman (Jeffrey) of Beaverton and Tina Lee (Alan) of Chanhassen; and his grandchildren, Tyler Lee of Chanhassen, Mitchell Lee of Chanhassen and Tessa Lee of Chanhassen.
