The memory of Joanne M. Stangel in Kohler, Wisconsin, who passed away on October 27, 2025 at the age of 89, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Hasse and Laura Hasse (Krentz). She is survived by: her husband Carl "Pat" Stangel; her children, Jill Young Eagle (Jeff), Julie Link (Jerry), John Stangel and Rachel Bauer (Eric); her grandchildren, Aaron Groth, Andrea Miller (Nathan), Rhaina Meyers (Bruce), Adam Werner (Jenna), Chase, Micah Bauer and Hailey Bauer; her great grandchildren, Savannah, Benson, Aria Myers, Carly Miller, Liam, Lane and Elletta Werner; her sister Mary Huber (Dave); her sister-in-law Beth Van De (Bill); her godson Mark Huber; and her niece Sarah Hutton. She is also survived by many other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Bethany Lutheran Church (222 Church St, Kohler, WI 53044). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Bethany Lutheran Church in Kohler or to the American Cancer Society.
