He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry W. Halvorsen and Evelyn Halvorsen (Cronholm). He is survived by: his wife Laura C. Halvorsen (Phipps); his children, Tamara Halvorsen Ludt (Matthew) of Saint Paul, MN, Stephen Halvorsen (Sandra) of Sheboygan and Kristin Zahn (Randall) of Plymouth; his grandchildren, Ellen Halvorsen, Sarah Halvorsen, Emma Halvorsen, Julia Zahn, Zachary Zahn, Krista Wilcox (Jordan) and Jennifer Zahn; and his great grandchildren, David Wilcox and Olivia Wilcox. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) or the Sheboygan County Humane Society (SCHS).
