We are sad to announce that on August 19, 2018, at the age of 97, Helen B. Hanke (La Crosse, Wisconsin), born in Irene, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Bert and Amanda; her stepmother Clara; and her brothers, James Moen, Merrill Moen and Michael Moen.

She is survived by : her spouse Al Hanke; her children, Sharon Thompson of Minneapolis, Patricia Wendling (Roger) of La Crosse and Stephan Hanke (Kristi Bothe) of Galesville; her granddaughter Jennifer Weiberg (David) of New Brighton; her great grandchildren, Jack Weiberg and Amelia Weiberg; and her siblings, Claire Sisson (Ed), Bonnie Holten (Magne), Bob Moen (Dottie), Ed Moen, Dolores Normandin, Burnett Poxleitner (Vernon) and Judy Moen. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
