He was predeceased by : his parents, James Cavaiuolo and Virginia Cavaiuolo; his parents-in-law, C. Louis Smader and Doris Smader (Rasmussen); his brother-in-law David Tycer; his niece Danielle Cavaiuolo; and his nephew Timothy Dioses.
He is survived by : his wife Susan Cavaiuolo (Smader); his daughter Angela (Tim Neyens); his grandson Cameron Cavaiuolo; his brothers, Dominic Cavaiuolo (Maria), John Cavaiuolo (Joanne) and Robert Cavaiuolo (Cynthia); his nephew Garrett Cavaiuolo (Lauren); his niece Rachael Cavaiuolo; his siblings-in-law, Charlie Smader (Lynn) and Pamela Smader; his niece Jennifer Missling (Jeffrey); and his nephews, Jeffrey Smader, Joseph Smader (Jen) and William Tycer.
