With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Marie A. Helgerson of La Crosse, Wisconsin, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alva Wetterlin and Maranda Wetterlin (Johnson); her husband Orville Helgerson; her brothers, Raymond and Robert (Ona); and her siblings-in-law, Louise Wetterlin, Ossie Helgerson (Bonnie), Ruth (Miles Neumann) and Ruby (Paavo Seppo).
She is survived by: her children, Leslie "Sam" Helgerson (Kellie) and Lana Lang (Will); her grandchildren, Jenifer Helgerson, Miranda Peterson, Makayla Peterson and Robert Lang; her siblings, Donald Wetterlin Sr. and Jeanette Grant; and her sister-in-law Dorothy Wetterlin. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Fredrickson Funeral Home (4239 Mormon Coulee Rd, La Crosse, WI 54601). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mormon Coulee Memorial Park (N 1137 Bloomer Mill Rd, La Crosse, WI 54601).
