She was predeceased by: her parents, Raynor Peart and Mildred Peart (Christensen); her husband John H. Payne; her stepfather Bernard Burcum; her sister Valarie Otto (Jack); and her uncle Dick Christensen.
She is survived by: her sons, Jeffrey J. (Rose) of St. Paul, MN and Timothy D. (Kim) of Prescott, WI; her grandchildren, Katie Williams (Nate), Kellie Payne (Stephan Nordeng) of Curtis, Zak Payne, Tyler Payne and Andy Payne; and her great grandchildren, Emma Williams, Alice "Ali" Williams, Caleb Nordeng and Sydney Payne.
Memorials may be directed to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, the Children's Miracle Network, the Mississippi Valley Conservancy, or a charity of your choice.
