She was predeceased by : her parents, Florence Burkman and Harold Burkman of Baraboo Wisconsin; and her husband Leo Splinter. She is survived by : her sons, Randall (Cheryl) of Lawrence, KS, Timothy (Kimberly) of Woodland Park, CO and Patrick (Janet) of Byron, MN; and her grandchildren, Noah, Nicholas, Jesse, Anastasia and Lillian. She is also survived by many nephews and nieces.

Memorials to the American Cancer Society are preferred.
