She was predeceased by : her parents, Merlin VanLanen and Priscilla "Percy" Van Lanen Knaub; her stepfather Fred Knaub; her sister Kathy "Gomer" Wichman; and her niece Robyn Van Lanen Saindon.
She is survived by : her former life partner Randall Schmidt; her husband Randy; her children, Tammy Steitzer and Tim Schmidt (Dawn); her grandchildren, Jordan Lynn, Brandon James and Amber Marie; and her brother Mike Van Lanen (Kathy). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other close family & friends.
