She was loved and cherished by many people including: her brothers, Thomas, William, Jr. and Richard Masterson; her spouse Robert J. Sweeney, Sr.; and her children, Robert J. Sweeney, Jr., Peter W. Sweeney, Moe Sweeney, Joseph J. Sweeney, Susan A. Sweeney, John J. Sweeney (Noop), Mary Ann Sweeney and Janie Lynaugh. She was also cherished by her twelve grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
