She was predeceased by: her parents, Audrey Hurwitz and Richard Hurwitz; and her husband Richard. She is survived by: her children, Jamie Flanigan (Matthew) and Carrie Meurer (John); her grandchildren, Gabriella, Courtland, Brynn, Graham and Abigail; and her cousins, Jerry and Tina Marcus (Alan).

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Gilda's Club Madison in Cindy's honor.
