He was loved and cherished by many people including : his grandfather Fred C. Lemke; his great-grandparent Julius J. Lemke; his wife Donna Lemke (Maier); his son Erik Lemke (Becky); his grandchildren, Kiley, Chezney and Easton David; his siblings, Mark Lemke (Charko) and Kathy Western (Jeff); his stepsister Karen Binkowski (John); his sisters, Susan Knapp, Mary Lemke and Diane Jungwirth; his parents-in-law, Peter, Margaret Maier (Meffert), Dianne (Maier), Gene Haug, Paul Maier and Linus Maier; and also, Vernon Maier (Ellen), Judy Kiselis (John), Roman Maier (Linda), Dan Maier, Marvin Maier (Mary Lou), Roger Maier (Heidi), Virgil Maier (Bonnie) and Ruth Ann Maier. He was also cherished by many other nieces and nephews.

Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, a private family memorial will take place at a later date.
