He was predeceased by: his parents, Alonzo Gilman and Ann Gilman (Leonetti); and his brother Lon. He is survived by: his wife Julie; and his siblings-in-law, Alan (Lois), Ken, Chris Calhoun (Lisa) and Linda Dresser. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He continued his coffee rounds and made new friends even throughout the pandemic.
