We are sad to announce that on April 20, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Georgia M. Shambes of Madison, Wisconsin, born in Flint, Michigan. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the echoes of fond remembrance, may we find a sense of peace, knowing that the memories we hold dear will continue to shape and inspire us, keeping Georgia's spirit alive in our hearts and actions. While her presence may be gone, her impact lives on in the kindness we show others and the joy we find in the ordinary moments of life.
She was predeceased by : her parents, William J. Shambes and Theodora Andros Shambes; and her sister Pauline Preketes. She is survived by : her sisters, Pat Chatas and Sophie McGee. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and their children; and her many friends.
She and her sorority sisters held regular reunions until the pandemic.
