It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Post formerly of Madison, Wisconsin, who passed away on July 21, 2020, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Post to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Richard Post and Agnes Post (McCoy); his parents-in-law, Russell and Doris Griffin; his siblings, James, Mary Ann Mix (Neal) and Pamela Holton; his brother-in-law Russell E. Griffin Jr.; his niece Barbara Schira; his nephew Mark Wildes; and his nephew-in-law Allan Roof.

He is survived by : his wife Valerie Griffin; his close friend Valerie; his sister Barbara Jordan (Bill) of Madison; and his siblings-in-law, William R III Jordan (Barbara) of Madison, Timothy Holton of Wausau, Gregory Griffin (Carol) of Madison, Thomas Griffin (Diane) of Oakdale, Neil "Nick" Griffin (Kenneth Miller) of Richmond, CA, Lee Ann Jensen (Herbert) of Columbus, Victoria Wildes (Loren) of Warrens, Kathleen Valters (Juris) of Jackson, Rosemary Travis (George) of Darien, Deborah Ryan (Michael) of Ft Myers, FL and Rebecca Collins (Thomas) of De Forest. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Due to Covid-19 a gathering for inurnment will be in La Grange Cemetery, Tomah in the spring of 2021.
