She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph Chirhart and Harriet Chirhart; her son Kenneth Hughes; and her brothers, Raymond, Jerome, Everett, Delmar and Donald.

She is survived by : her husband Edward Hughes; her children, James (Jan), Kevin (Diane) and Mary Hoddinott (Krieg); her grandchildren, Andrew, Katie (Amanda), Matthew Hughes and Tyler Bleifuhs; and her stepgrandsons, Brian and Brad Hoddinott. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, relatives, and dear friends.
