He is survived by: his wife Patricia Staven; his sons, Scott Staven (Tammy), Mark Staven (Ellen) and Chris Staven (Bonnie); his grandsons, Dane Staven, Kyle Staven and Michael Staven; his sister Carol Magnuson; his sisters-in-law, Gayle Langkamp and Elaine Finn; and his cousin Jeanne Mueller. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
