He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Umnus and Almira Damn Umnus. He is survived by: his wife Shirley M. Wiesner; his son Thomas; his daughter-in-law Debra Umnus; his daughter Lori; his son-in-law George Gosz; his grandchildren, Sam Gosz, Jacob and Emily Gosz; his great grandchildren, Georgia Grace and Ivy Rose Gosz; and his grandchildren, Amy Umnus, Chris Croxson, Houston, Paul Umnus (Elena DeForest) and Baltimore, MD. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, a private memorial service is being planned to be held on Monday, November 23, 2020 at First German Ev. Lutheran Church in Manitowoc with Rev. Jacob Hoff officiating and burial following at Evergreen Cemetery in Manitowoc.
