He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Bergene and Eleanore Vraney Bergene; his siblings, Shirley and Jerry; and his nephew Scott Bergene.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Schisel; his children, Brian Bergene (Rosanne), Jason Bergene (Shawn) and Missy Bergene; his grandchildren, Malarie (Brett Oswald), Jacob (Jenny), Autumn, Walker, Shayla, Annaleise and Zane; and his siblings, Ronald Bergene, Randy Bergene, Mike Bergene, Carol Pagels, Linda Menza (Richard), Sharon Satori (Larry), Manitowoc and Janelle Schisel (Donald). He is also survived by nieces, nephews along with other relatives and friends.
