She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Schaefer and Olive Schaefer (La Croix); her husband Wilfred "Wiff" Gries; her sons, James "Jim" Gries and Timothy; and her parents-in-law, Joseph and Margaret Gries.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Benjamin Gries (Kim), Allison Gries (Derik Dakota), Josie Zabran, Stephanie Lenzner-Nauman (Michael), Michael Lenzner (Erin), Katherine Lenzner (Jason Verheyen), Daniel Nicholson (Chelsea), Andrew Nicholson (Ge) and Michael Nicholson (Ann Kosterman); and her great grandchildren, Haley Nicholson, Carter Lenzner, Emma Lenzner, Zachary Lenzner, Wyatt, Barrett Gries, William and Madelyn Nicholson. She is also survived by other relatives, and friends.
Due to COVID-19, a private family service was held at Holy Family Catholic Parish in Brillion.
