He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Hencsik and Henrietta Hencsik (Schrank); his wife Joyce Hencsik; and his siblings, Steve Hencsik, Nancy Tarkowski (Dick) and Frances Surges (Robert).

He is survived by: his son Todd Hencsik; his daughter-in-law Lisa Hencsik; and his grandchildren, Parker Hencsik and Charli Hencsik. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
