He was predeceased by: his parents, Marius C. Thomsen and Julia Thomsen (Anderson); and his wife Eleanore. He is survived by: his children, Tom Thomsen (Barb), Nancy Neumeister (Jim) and Louise Horton (Lon). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Richard and Eleanore, a union of over 59 years based on a Christian foundation were blessed with their pride and joy of three wonderful children.
