We are sad to announce that on July 20, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Theresa R. Burbey Schmelzle of Manitowoc, Wisconsin. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John A. Stadtmueller and Anna M. Stadtmueller (Binder); and her siblings, Mary Ann Zentner (Howard), John F. Stadtmueller, Katherine Janssen, Bob Stadtmueller, Len Stadtmueller and Margaret McHugh.
She is survived by: her husband James F. Schmelzle; her sons, Mark Burbey (Kristina) and Michael Burbey (Denise); her granddaughters, Gina Burbey and Emma Rose Duessing (Tyler); her brother Franz Stadtmueller (Sandy); and her siblings-in-law, Bob Janssen, Mick McHugh, Pat Stadtmueller and Phyllis Stadtmueller. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews; and special friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church (8100 Brunner Rd, Newton, WI 53063). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, a scholarship will be established in her name at Roncalli Catholic Schools.
