He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Amanda Jones (Aaron), Megan Geiger (Jeff), Dennis Johnson (Kathy), Diane Johnson, Darlene Hogan (Duane Spittel) and Dawn Hamre (Ralph); his grandchildren, Catherine Marshall (Rob), Brian Johnson (Laura), Alisa Erickson (Al), Erik Hamre and Lesley Everts (Daan); his great grandchildren, Connor, Blake Jones, Colton Geiger, Gabriel Marshall, Andrew, Aidan Erickson, Evan Hamre and Lauren Everts; his parents, Jens Johnson and Esther Johnson; his former wife Lila Schwandt; and his wife Marjorie Spiel.
