He is survived by: his wife Ruth Holcomb; his children, Gilbert Holcomb (Melody) of Wausau, Gillian Waukau (Wendel) of Wausau and James Holcomb of Wausau; his grandchildren, Blake, Jayna, Sierra, David, Reva, Nevaeh, Jorden, Madison and Andrew; his great grandchildren, Jeremiah, Maybelle and Cameron; and his sisters, Sandra Sims (Steve) of Cumby and Sue VanNorman (Richard) of Denison, Texas..
