It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Hertha Preston of Marshfield, Wisconsin, born in Goodrich, North Dakota, who passed away on January 20, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ferdinand Schneider and Adolfina Schneider (Rabolt); her husband Leonard A. Preston; her daughter Joan Lundeen; her son-in-law Raymond Durst, Jr.; her granddaughter Tina Wuethrich; her great grandchild Olivia Schiferl; her grandson-in-law Darryl Nelson; and her siblings, Frank Richter, Oscar Schneider, Ethel Blask and Ruth Freehling.

She is survived by: her children, Leonard Preston, Jr. (Kathleen Farrell) of Wausau and Deborah Durst of Marshfield; her grandchildren, Jennifer Nelson, Matthew Coder, Mark Preston (Deanna Verhuilen), Joseph Preston (Farrell), Sarah Becker (Eric), Kathryn Schiferl (Michael) and Karissa Camacho (Cody); her grandson-in-law Andrew Wuethrich (Crystal); her great grandchildren, Kali Preston, Madelyn Preston, Michael Preston, Kristopher Preston, Seeley Preston, Alder Preston, Warren Nelson, Alex Wuethrich, Julianna Wuethrich, Malakai Didier, Tristyn Didier, Cy Becker, Raymond Becker, Analivia Becker, Taylor Schiferl, Emilie Schiferl and Hannah Schiferl; her sister Suzanne Herriges of Greendale; and her sister-in-law Marjorie Schneider of Mount Pleasant. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
