He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer W. Schreiner and Christine Schreiner (Henseler); his siblings, Geraldine Domach of Milwaukee and Elmer Jr.; and his son Michael.

He is survived by: his uncle Henry; his wife Jeanette (Jan); his children, Kathleen Christenson (Jim) of Lakeville, Charlene Stevens of Boulder, Patrick Schreiner (Jeanne) of Marshfield and Thomas Schreiner (Jim Rehmann) of Corcoran, Minnesota.; his grandchildren, Nicole Bowman, Jennifer McKenna, Ryan Christenson, Shayla Stevens, Tylan Schreiner, Maggie Schreiner and Kessa Fenske; his great grandchildren, Gabriel, Riley, Addie McKenna, Elianna and Savana Bowman; and his siblings, Claire McDonald of Denver, Barbara Hannon of Aurora and Paul Schreiner of Marshfield. He is also survived by his wife, family and friends.
