She was predeceased by: her parents, Ole Egner and Mabel Egner (Krogfoss); her husband Edwin O. McConnell; and her brothers, Willard and Howard.

She is survived by: her sister-in-law Jeanette Egner. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made in Betty's name to Agrace Hospice Care, Skaalen Nursing Home or McFarland Lutheran Church.
