He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Cooley and Mary Lou Cooley; and his granddaughter Sarah Cooley. He is survived by: his wife Carol Richter; his children, Sam (Marcia), Ben (Amy Gunderson) and Betsy Verbeten (Jake); his granddaughters, Addison and Alexis Verbeten; and his sisters, Lynell Lange (Mark) and Valerie Jones (Chuck). He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws and close friends.
