He is survived by: his mother Gertrude Holmstadt of Hudson, WI; his wife Mary Haroldson; his children, Allan Holmstadt (Amy) of Cottage Grove, MN and Heidi Vieceli (Ron) of Hayward, WI; his grandchildren, Ellie, Reny, Kenny, Addy, Robbie and Finley; his close friend James Totzke (Dawn) of Chippewa Falls; his siblings, Leann Lifto (Mike) of Maiden Rock, Cecile Pohl (Randy) of Menomonee Falls, Clarence (Tina) of Chaska, MN, Patrick of Appleton, Gale (Kim) of Ramsey, MN, Bruce (Eileen) of Chippewa Falls, Michael (Kathy) of Hudson, Randy (Valorie) of Plum City, Jeremy (Laura) of Madison, John (Kaylan) of Blaine, MN and Steven (Katie) of Byron, MN; and his siblings-in-law, Julie Smith of Sugar Camp, WI, Marye Smith of Rhinelander, Diane Hinz (Dean) of Oshkosh and Leslie Smith. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rhiel Funeral Home (2317 Schneider Ave SE, Menomonie, WI 54751). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (910 Wilson Ave, Menomonie, WI 54751).
