Elmer "Gee" Prenzlow LCDR, USN (Ret) Born to eternal life in Christ 11/20/23 at the age of 69 years. Beloved husband (45 years) of Linda Prenzlow nee Karrasch. Loving father of Elmer Alexander Prenzlow. Beloved son of Marilyn Seefeld nee Wolff. Preceded in death by his father Rev. Elmer J.C. Prenzlow Jr.
Elmer was a graduate of University School - Milwaukee '72, Marquette University '76, and the Royal Naval Staff College at Greenwich, England '89.
He retired after a 20 year Navy career, including Executive Officer of destroyer USS John Rodgers. Post retirement, positions included Sr. Claims Officer for WI Dept. of Veterans Affairs, and Regional Manager for WI State Consumer Protection Bureau.
He served as a Village of Thiensville Trustee, Lieutenant on the Thiensville. Special Police, Past Commander of American Legion Post 452, Past President American Legion Riders District 2, and Past Board President of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church.
Memorial service will be held at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, 11313 Riverland Rd, Mequon. Visitation Saturday, December 2 from 10:30-12, service 12:00, and luncheon 1:00. Memorials may be made to Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church Cemetery Fund.
