He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Carlson and Elizabeth Carlson (Mueller); and his sister Dorothy Kretschmer (Gerald). He is survived by: his wife Christine Carlson; his son John Carlson (Sandy); his grandchildren, Tyler and Alexandria Hanneman (Wilson); his daughter Clarice Scheu (David); his grandsons, Jason, Andrew and Justin; his great grandchildren, Alexis, Jack and June Barker (Darrell); his children, Jolicia and Jaylyn Barnett; his grandchildren, Hunter and Elliann Slozes; his sister Ottilie Carlson; and also, Travis (Carly), Ryan, Elizabeth Countryman (Jacob), Thad, Anton, Sara Carlson (Matthew), Gustave and Carl Carlson (Barbara). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and good friends.

Social distancing will be practiced, and masks are required in the funeral home.
