Leota Berndt Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leota Berndt of Merrill, Wisconsin, who passed away on October 9, 2020 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Evert O. Culver and Julia M. Culver (Sikir); her husband Martin Otto Berndt; and her brothers, LaVern and Ernest Culver.
She is survived by: her children, Bonnie Pfotenhaur of Merrill, Gloria Kottman of Merrill, Faye Stevenson of Minocqua, Linda Anderson (LaVon) of Myton, UT and Evert Berndt (Cindy) of Franklin, WI. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Social distancing and masks will be required in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Leota's name are encouraged and may be directed to the Food for Kids program at St. Stephen's United Church of Christ in Merrill.
